From the aspect of packaging performance, the requirements of food plastic packaging bags can be divided into two aspects: internal requirements and external requirements:
1. The inherent requirements of food packaging refer to the technical requirements for ensuring the quality and quantity of food in its packaging through packaging, such as strength, barrier properties, plastic bag breathing, etc.
1. Strength requirement: This package can protect the packaged food against various external destructive forces such as pressure, impact force and vibration force during storage, stacking, transportation and handling. There are many related factors in food packaging strength requirements, such as transportation methods (such as cars and airplanes), stacking forms (such as multi-layer stacking, cross-stacking) and environment (such as climate and sanitation environment).
2. Barrier requirements: Barrier is one of the important properties in food packaging. Many foods are stored and packaged, and the flavor and quality of the food change due to poor barrier properties, which ultimately affects the quality of the food. Barrier requirements are determined by the nature of the food itself and are characterized by external barriers, internal barriers or selective barriers. The substances that block are air, water, grease, light, microorganisms, and so on.
3, breathing requirements: Some exported foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, still maintain breathing function during packaging and storage, therefore, such packaging materials or containers are breathable, or can control the breathing, so as to achieve the purpose of preservation.
4, nutritional requirements: food in the packaging and storage process, will gradually lose nutrition, so the packaging of food should be conducive to the preservation of food nutrition, it is more desirable to lock nutrition through packaging.
5, other requirements: There are many internal requirements for food packaging, such as heat resistance requirements, light protection requirements, shatterproof requirements, moisturizing requirements.
Second, the external requirements of food packaging are the use of packaging to reflect the characteristics, performance, and image of food. It is the external visualization and expression of food, including the following aspects:
1. Safety requirements: The safety of food packaging includes health and safety, handling safety and safety of use. Hygiene safety means that food packaging materials should not contain substances harmful to the human body; in terms of packaging technology, the processed foods should be kept as constant as possible in terms of nutrients, color and taste. Handling safety means that the packaging can guarantee the safety problem during the transportation and loading and unloading process. It should also include the safety of the consumer after the purchase and purchase, and will not be easily damaged. The safety of use is to ensure that consumers are not harmed during the opening and eating process.
2, promotional requirements: food packaging is one of the best means of food promotion. The performance, characteristics, consumption methods, nutrients and cultural connotations of food can be promoted on the packaging. The promotion of food packaging includes: necessary information promotion, image promotion, color promotion, structure promotion and so on.
3. External requirements also include: convenience requirements, suggestive requirements, interesting description requirements, and emotional description requirements.
